Exhibitions 2011 so far - Equestrian exhibitions

March has been a very exciting month but very very busy! The days are getting longer and the sun shines a bit more! The studio start to be busy with work to be done for exhibitions and there are a fair few exhibitions planned for the next few months.
I will be exhibiting 14 pieces (Bronzes, Raku and Ceramics) from April until end of September.
The Life Gallery is a fantastic contemporary gallery in Farnham. The exhibition “Equine life” is running from the 8th April until the 18th May – review is the Thursday 7th from 6h30-9h30

the new challenge: 100 days in the unknown! Day 68 -little horses -experimenting with glazes and techniques
Recently I have been experimenting with glazes. Raku, glazes altered with a layer of copper oxide underneath, smoke firing an already earthenware glazes piece is also interesting and even more interesting if you sprinkle some copper oxide in the bin just before smoke firing.
