New Commission- levade for the king troops

I have a new commission to do for the King troops, a 30cm high Silver horse performing the "levade" between Pillars.
very interesting work to do around classical dressage.

The levade is a "haute ecole" movement where the horse is balanced on its haunches at a 45 degree angle from the ground. It requires great control and balance, and is very strenuous. The famous 2 pillars were used for training.

  1. Spanish riding school of Vienna is also performing classical dressage -

The spanish riding school of vienna is the only institution in the world where classical horsemanship in the 'fine art' tradition of the Renaissance has been at home for more than 430 years!
